It's a Party and You're Invited!!!

I recently put my invitation making skills to work and wanted to share this one with you.

Expressions of Talent was having their annual banquet and wanted a creative invitation to spread the news to their staff. The company color is lavender so I thought it would be a great creative touch to incorporate this in to the invite. The banquet was also a winter/holiday theme so that is why I chose to use a snowflake on the front. I wanted to keep the invite simple but unique since these invites are all handmade and I knew I would be making quite a few. I did however, type up the information on the inside of the card on my computer using my invitation software. After meeting with Trina (the owner) and using my imagination I put all of my creative design ideas to work to come up with the invitation below.

Hope you like it…

In addition to these wonderful invitations I made I also made coordinating menus and gift tags....

Awesome Job

Hello All,

Ever wonder what to do with the certificate cutout on the Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge for the Cricut? I have such an amazing project to share with you that I recently created.  Expressions of Talent is my top customer and puts my creative ability to work constantly. The owner, Trina, was recently holding a gymnastics meet and asked me to create a certificate to hand out to the kids. I have posted pictures below of the finished certificate as well as the leaves I created and glued onto the certificates. The mock meet had a fall theme so I incorporated that into the certificate by using fall leaves. The leaves were also created using the cricut. I had so much fun with this project and really love the outcome. I actually had a chance to attend the gymnastics meet so I could see how much the kids and their parents loved the certificates.

A new take...

Well, it has been an extremely long time since I last blogged.  Mainly because I have been super busy as well as trying out some new things.  I have started paper crafting and have really been enjoying it.  I am still making jewelry however I have taken on a new crafty interest.  I hope to be posting some pictures of the things I am working on soon.  You see my sister owns her own dance/gymnastics company and she has put me in charge of creating some of her marketing materials as well as other projects.  One project I am currently working on is making her certificates for their upcoming gymnastics mock meet.  I really had to put my creative mind to work.  After putting together quite a few samples and reviewing these with her I think we have come up with the perfect design.  I will be posting some photos of these and also a little bit of insight on how I made them.  I will also be creating her company banquet invitations and decorations.  I look forward to sharing all of my ideas with you and keeping up with my blog.  Please stay tuned for some creative designs from A Lovely Imagination!

Weekends were made for FUN!

I had a great weekend just hanging out with my husband and two favorite doggies, now it’s back to work on Monday.  Oh well, I certainly had fun making these hair barrettes shown below. I used my imagination along with genuine Swarovski crystals and pearls to twist up these beauties. Wear one in your hair for a weekend party or just a simple get together to brighten up your appearance and to make you feel fabulous!

The Kailey Bracelet

The Kailey

The Kailey was inspired by one of my best friends who will soon be having a baby girl. When imagining this bracelet I thought, what a great gift for a mom to be. This beautifully elegant bracelet will symbolize the birth of her beautiful baby girl Kailey.

The Kailey was made using Light Rose Swarovski Crystals and Clear Swarovski Crystals. The spacers used are sterling silver as well as the clasp closure. The ribbon is an added touch by Lovely Imagination and is tied to all of our pieces to show our appreciation.

Though The Kailey was made in pink as shown here, it can be made in multiple different colors. These bracelets can be custom made to suit your preferences. If you have a friend or loved one with a baby on the way, buy her a Kailey bracelet and let her know that she is appreciated in a thoughtfully unique way.

Just Imagine...

Right now I am working on a bridal necklace that I dreamt up when thinking about my own wedding. I just love the way crystals and pearls accent each other and thought, what a great way to look Simply Fabulous on your special day. This pearl necklace is hand knotted with 100% silk. The gorgeous filigree flower is set with exquisite Swarovski Crystals and the clasp is sterling silver with filigree designs which adds a classic elegance. The clasp also features a safety catch traditionally used for pearls.
